Shall We Dance ?

You're planning everything else associated with your wedding, why not your first dance? Learning to dance is an essential part of wedding day preparations, which most couples don’t pay much attention to.

Learning to dance for your wedding is a special gift that you and your spouse-to-be can give each other. There is a special joy that comes from learning something new together and in learning to move together, as one, to the music. Feeling confident and poised when you dance together will ensure that your very first dance, as husband and wife will be a memory you will cherish forever.

Remember that your schedule will get very hectic as your wedding day approaches, therefore, early preparation and adequate lessons are highly recommended, especially if you are a newcomer to dancing. Ideally you should begin practicing at least four to six months ahead of time.

You can start by selecting a song that is both romantic, plus appropriate to move to. Besides traditional dances, the Tango, Mambo, Salsa, Swing and even the Hustle are all popular for a first dance.
